Lorraine Volpe was born October 21st 1946 the oldest of three siblngs, Jimmy, Greg and Valerie. She went to Oceanside High School and graduated in 1963. Lorraine married her high school boyfriend Fred Gross​ and gave birth to her only son Frederick Gross Jr. They lived in a building at 407 Beach 20th Street Far Rockaway Queens New York.

Lorraine separated from Fred in 1969 and moved to New York City where she lived with her son Freddy at 101 East 16th Street in Manhattan. Lorraine enrolled at New York University and worked her way through college working as a secretary at NYU. She graduated in 1979 with a BA in English Literature. 

 

In 1984 Lorraine moved to Los Angeles California here she spent the rest of her life living on North Crescent Heights Blvd in West Hollywood. She sent the last 25 years with her boyfriend and Domestc Partner Eric Lintermans.
